Brooke Brown

An Ink Weaver of  Life, Faith, & Fiction

"I write and tell all kinds of stories so other people may also be

encouraged to find their hope and higher purpose in God’s

         presence, beyond limits.”

Welcome to Wheels2Wings!

I am a lover of Jesus, people and words who writes, speaks, acts, dances, creates and always dreams. It just so happens I do it all wheels due to having cerebral palsy. Besides my Faith, I have two core passions and beliefs that I want to share with the world. First, I strive to help others discover the power in their own stories, so they can cultivate hope, emotional healing, and new opportunities, while advocating for acceptance. Secondly, I  believe EVERYONE has a God-given purpose for their skills, talents, and gifts; no matter their physical or mental limitations. This site will give you a glimpse into my books, my ministry, community involvement, along with the individual consultations, group workshops and presentations I offer. Please contact me with any questions or to book an event. I hope I can be a blessing to you!

My Story

Brooke Brown has been a storyteller for as long as she can remember. That has always been her way of living beyond her limitations. She earned a bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University where she received the Walter Cronkite Outstanding Undergraduate Award. She is the author of The Little Butterfly Girl, the Transforming the Heart of YOUR Story workbook, and a devotional titled ADAPT. In addition, she is the communication specialist for Dr. John Trent’s, a freelance magazine writer, and an actor and playwright in Theatre 360. Brooke has also been asked to speak at many community events, sharing her life experiences with cerebral palsy to inspire others who are facing profound life challenges. However, she knows she’s not the only one with a story to tell. Therefore, Brooke has a passion for using her storytelling skills in the service of others. Along with her work at Strong Families, she runs a creative storytelling ministry called Brooke's Butterfly Touch, which encourages people to discover the power in sharing their own stories in order to bring hope, and understanding to others.
